What Now

Visitor's Question from a 16-20 year old Female
I need some help in determining whether or not a boy still loves me or had he moved on.
We've known each other for two years and he had once told me that he really loved me. We used to spend a lot of time together and he always like to poke me and flirt with me. He told me that he would trust me with his life and asked me if I would accept him or reject him. I rejected him but made him promise to maintain our great friendship knowing that I secretly loved him back. So I told him that I loved him a few weeks later but he started to ignore me more and more. However, for the past month or so, he started to hang out a lot with another girl, who is a casual friend of mine, and would often walk her to the bus after school. But they had known each other since junior high so it might be merely a friendship, although I was deeply hurt by this. When I confronted him about it he told me to get a psychiatrist. Then this past week he started to flirt with me again but still hangs around that girl often. I just don't know if he still likes me... I really need your advice.
Thanks a lot.

It's hard to know what is going through his mind.

He is paying attention to you but hangs around another girl. He probably likes both of you.

My advice is to continue talking, joking, and flirting around with him and he may develop that loving feeling for you again.

Good luck! George
