Confused
Visitor's Question from a 21-30 year old Male
There is this girl I met last spring. We hit it off right away. She was totally into me. However, when I asked her out on a date, she never went. I have tried so many times to take her out, but always an excuse. Ill back off and she always comes back, talking and joking around with me. She will even drop hints that she wants to be with me. She always has the excuse that she is too busy for a boy friend or she wants to enjoy college...stuff like that. But the mixed signals she sends me, drives me crazy. Ive tried to get her out of my life, but she always comes back into it. I really do like this girl but I cant put up with the games anymore. Does she like me or really just sees me as a friend? I am truly stuck here. After the first time I asked her out, I asked her why she didnt want to go and she said things were happening to fast. Why is this girl so afraid of me?

She isn't afraid of you but doesn't want the relationship to go any farther. Almost a year has passed without any progress.
My advice is to accept that you have a friendship only relationship or that you move on.
