Just want to forget

Visitor's Question from a 13-15 year old Male
I told my old crush how i felt about her and she told me she just wanted to be friends.which i know was a lie because i still can't get anything more than "hi" from her. But i was okay with it for a while. I even have a girlfriend now! but i still think about her and i can't stand it. My new girlfriend is great it's just that she lives so far away and i see my old crush everyday.And i can't help but feel like there was something i could do to make her love me the way i love her. (I say love because at this point that's what it's looking like.)Never the less part of being in love is respecting your loved ones decision right? I don't want to change her mind because i know i can't. I just want to forget about her and move on. any ideas?

Time is the only thing that can cure a rejected love.

Look around and see if you can find a girlfriend who lives closer to you. That might take your mind off your crush.

Or think more about your current g/f and find ways to communicate and be with her. Telephone, email, etc are ways to keep you two in contact.

Meanwhile, don't look at your crush when you see her. It is good practice in getting over her.
