communication

Visitor's Question from a 13-15 year old Female
i asked my ex back and he's considering it. i am trying hard to communicate with him and i rack my brain every single day to find stuff to talk about, but he isnt opening up. what should i do? it seems as though he wont allow any connection between us. he is giving me a chance to prove myself but it's not going well - i don't know how i can get him to feel more comfortable around me. i think he feels that the things i talk to him about are shallow and irrelevant, and they annoy him. but if i talk to him about deep topics all the time he's gonna think i am being fake and manipulative. what sort of things do u say to ur ex if you want him back? when i open up he backs away, and when i dont he STILL stays away. either way, i lose. what do i do? he's a pretty serious, deep person. he's very resolute but so far he hasn't made up his mind about me yet. hes gonna come up with a decision soon, and i want it to be a good one. if it is a bad one he will stick to it anyway and it would be totally helpless. please help.
