How to win back my ex's heart now?

Visitor's Question from a 21-30 year old Female
My ex and I were together for 1.5 years. However, during that period I took him for granted and became possessive, naggy, controlling and tried to change him. His passion died overtime and he broke off with me. And he asked me to let go as he has already moved on happily. He knows I was sad. 2 days after the break up, i asked him to give me a chance but he said no. I regretted for calling him but that action is too late as it would only show I'm begging! Since then, I did not contact him for 3 weeks. When I happened to bump into him, I tried to look happy, ignored him and said a normal hi. Nothing more than that. He did not contact me either. I think he has no feelings for me now, only affection for a friend. I'm not sure how to proceed from here as I don't want to appear to chase him and get rejected again. I need to win his heart so that he will come back but I know he is a tough and firm person in decision-making. What is my next step?

RomanceClass.com Advice
Ask him if you can call him once a week.

When you call, catch up on how you two are doing, remind him you still care for him. Don't talk about your relationship and keep the call to 15 mins.

After a while a friendship may develop and you may get closer again.
