can this work?

Visitor's Question from a 16-20 year old Female
okay me and my boyfriend of 1 year and a half broke up 2.5 weeks ago. we broke up because he said he needed space. we also said when we broke up that this was because we needed to reflect on the relationship and then after a while we should decide whether wed liek to date or not. we will decide in 2 weeks because thatll be just after prom adn were going together adn we dont wnat to fight or ruin anything before that. weve talked everyday and a lot of the time its me wnating him back. i know that i need to calm down and ive read all the great advice on here, its just what do you think i should do for the next 2 weeks? throughout the breakup we have hung out a couple times and he calls me every day, he just needs space. anything i can do for the next 2 weeks to at least help him change his mind? thanks! :)

RomanceClass.com Advice
Be pleasant with him for the next two weeks and don't emphasize your relationship. Let him know you still care for him if you want to but don't belabor it. Let him do the contacting since he is the one who wants space and if you call him, you are taking away his space.

After the prom, he will let you know how he feels. He will probably still want some more time, so be prepared.

Good luck! George
