major issue about my good friend

Visitor's Question from a 16-20 year old Male
Hi I am in a very complex situation and am hoping that you can give me some advice. Here's the situation. there is a girl who i am really close with and i have become to love her. She is flirtatious with every guy friend of hers of which she has many. I try to flirt with her by hugging her in the halls or puttin my hand on her back sometimes. She is completely oblivious to what im doing and doesn't realize that im trying to show her i like her. I need help with finding a way of getting closer to her and making this oblivious girl not so oblivious to my intentions. I have taken her out for dinner and paid every time but she only sees this as me being a good friend. Is the any way of gettin her to open her eyes to me?

You're going to have to tell her how you feel.

Next time you are out to dinner, tell her you are "developing strong feelings" for her. Listen closely to what she says in reply. If she isn't sure how she feels tell her you will ask her again later and do it within three days.
