Out of options??

Visitor's Question from a 41-50 year old Male
I'm wondering what to do now. I'm married to a woman who
has intimacy/closeness issues. I thought by showing her
what real love (giving, sharing, kindness, etc.) was all about she'd warm up to me. But after 6 months of marriage (1.5 years) together, she just hasn't and won't be close to me.

She's fine with sex the more the better, but we have no closeness. I'm so very sad, i long for her to show me i matter
to show me she really cares.

I'm thinking over my options now, and would appreciate any help.

Thanks

You two need professional counseling.

After 1.5 years of not being close, she needs to realize how she is failing as a partner and start to work at being better.

Unless this has been a life-long problem of her's, there is the probability that you also need advice in satisfying some of her needs.

Good luck! George
