it's been a year now...

Visitor's Question from a 21-30 year old Female
my ex broke up with me a year ago, and just recently we've been on really good terms. i consider him to be my friend and i think he feels the same way. he has invited me over to his home a few times for whenever he has a small get together. honestly it's nice that we get along because we went for atleast 6 months without any contact at all. within the past month and half i've seen him atleast 7 or 8 times. i even spent a small amount of time alone with him a few days ago. but i still want him back. a few weeks after we broke up, i asked him if there was a chance of us ever getting back together and he said that we should just try being better friends first. so no what? we're friends. he's confided a few personal things to me recently, so that lets me know that he trusts me. my question is: how to i get him back? i would really like to just hang out with him alone like i do with a lot of my platonic male friends, but how do i go about asking him to hang out with me without seeming too obvious? sorry this was so long. i really appreciate this site being online. any help would be great. thanks.

You are doing well with your ex so far.

So keep up doing what you are doing.

To get some alone time, why not ask him over for his favorite home-cooked meal?
The way to a man's heart is through his stomach.

Good luck! George
