Why am I feeling like this? & How do I get rid of it?

Visitor's Question from a 16-20 year old Male
I have a friend and we've been friends for a long time. Just recently I have started helping her with her problems she has going on in her life. After I help her she says things like "thank you. you are so sweet." or "I dont know what I would do without you." As a result, I have started to like her. Then I met one of her friends. He is a cool guy and hes really funny. Which is the problem. He can make her laugh. So I get jealous because he can make her laugh and I can't. For two weeks I was starting to push away from her but then I decided I should confront her. I told her that I get jealous when she talks with him more than me. She told me that I should have come to her sooner and that she understands and I am her best friend. So I thought it was all over but I still feel jealous and want to get rid of the jealousy.

RomanceClass.com Advice
You have to realize you can't be everything to someone.

So she finds him funnier than you... nothing you can do about it.

So roll with the punches and take advantage of the fact that she cares more about you than him.

Life is like this. We all have to learn to deal with it.

Good luck! George
