I broke up with my boyfriend and now I want him back

I just recently broke up with by boyfriend of 7 months. He is the love of my life, my world my everything. We just happend to get in a fight and i broke it off with him. Now that he is not with me, my heart aches, i feel so alone. Anyways I talked to him on Sunday the 14th, three days after we broke up for only like 5 mins. I asked him if we could work things out between us. He told me, well this is what you wanted, you ended it. I then told him, I didnt really want this, i love him and us not being together does not feel right at all. Then he told me he was going to Montana to work for 2 weeks (we live in Idaho) and if we were to work things out it would have to be then, but it wa a maybe. I asked him to promise me one thing and he asked me what? I asked him to promse me he would not get another girl while he was up there and he said of course not. I told him good with tears in my eyes and told him to be safe and that I love him, he said i will and bye. So right now i am so confused. I dont know what to think, or do. Do you think we will get back together? What else do I need to do to get him back??? I dont want anyone else but him. Please please help me!!!

Judging on how he responded to you it seems that he is interested in getting back together.

Wait until he gets back from Montana and then try to rebuild your relationship. Have talks with him -- gentle and loving talks that will help everyone forget the breakup. Tell him you're sorry you broke up with him.
