What should I do if I want him and he wants me?

My boyfriend recently broke up with me because his ex told him that he had to chose between me and her child (who isnt his, but he really cares about this child who is only 6 months old). He chose the child over me, but keeps telling me that he misses me, he really cares about me, and that he isnt happy not being with me. He wants to be friends but will only communicate with me through text messages. I work with him so I have to see him every day. How in the hell am I supposed to get over him? Or should I wait around for him?

Tell him he can't have it both ways.
And, it sounds like he is settled in with the ex.
He only wants to communicate thru txt even though you work together.
This is not good for anyone, you should dump him.
