We are not even friends anymore ...

Visitor's Question from a 21-30 year old Female
It's been four and a half months since he broke up with me. I've done everything I could. I tried to give him space, and then after some time I asked for another chance. He said no and I gave him another month, then just told him I didn't want to "play games" by pretending that I didn't love him anymore. I just admitted that I still cared about him but if he wanted to go now, I would wait. He then stopped asking his phone, sent me an email and said that this was the last email he was sending to me, and that he wouldn't read anymore email either. He said he has moved on and is now interested in another girl. He said he wants me to date other guys as well. The worst part, of course, is that he wants to "take a break from contacting one another" because "it is proving difficult for us to have a friendship." I don't know what to do. I know he might never ever come back .... but what if I've even lost his friendship altogether? I love him so much .... my guilt is killing me .... I shouldn't have messed up .... Please help me.

RomanceClass.com Advice
You should accept the breakup and try to move on with your life.

If you really want to contact him, try to convice him to allow you one phone call each month for 15 mins to catch up on how you are doing. If he says yes, be cheerful and don't talk about your previous relationship.

Good luck! George
