Not sure if it's o.k. to mix business with pleasure

Visitor's Question from a 31-40 year old Female
About three weeks ago, I started going to a new bakery in my neighborhood and immediately found the man behind the counter attractive. We clicked right away and instead of asking him out, I thought it would be a good idea to become friends first. We are very friendly now, but I really want to go out with him outside the bakery and I would like it if he were the one to ask me. I don't want to ask him because I don't know if I will be crossing any lines since he is a worker and I'm a customer? Any advice?

Thanks,

Tess

He would be crossing the line if he asked you out because he is the worker and you are the customer.

Stick with your original idea and ask himself out yourself.

Good luck! George
