He's Scared by my Fondness

Visitor's Question from a 13-15 year old Female
Now what do I do. I already told the guy that I really like him and I think I scared him away from me. Should I just give up on the idea of being friends with him? Do you think he'll be freaked out if I try to talk to him? What do I do now?

People do generally get scared by someone coming at them and professing strong feelings :) It's best to move into things slowly. So move into things slowly. Just chat with him, show him you're not planning on dragging him off like a cavecreature. The more he realizes you're just a friendly person in his life, the more he will be comfortable with you being around. And you go from there.
