Still in love with my ex, continued..

Visitor's Question from a 16-20 year old Female
Okay I took your advice and I was very open with my ex. I confessed to him that I was still in love with him and wanted to marry him one day.

He told me that it was okay I felt that way, but he had moved on. He says he is happy with the girl he is with now and they have a connection (which is the exact same thing he used to say we had). He said that we can be friends but he can't be with me.

So is that it? If I keep being friends with him is there any chance?

And even if there isn't I still want to be friends with him because he is my best friend. I love him so much and want him to be happy, but it is so hard to see him with someone else. If we aren't friends, I will be miserable. But if we are and I keep seeing him with someone else.. it breaks my heart every time. It's like either way I'm going to be sad. What should I do?

Thank you!

RomanceClass.com Advice
Since he still wants to be your friend that is a good sign that he hasn't left you behind.

A good way to get back a lost love is to remain their friend. If they don't want to be your friend then you have lost them almost for sure.

So, be cheerful, don't talk too often about your relationship.

It's your choice... leave him and have no hope with him but hope for a new guy. Or, remain his friend and keep the hope alive.

Good luck! George
