kinda cheatin

Visitor's Question from a 21-30 year old Male
Im not really cheating in the traditional sense, but I had a female friend in college my gilrfriend of 5 years didn't like her so she told me to cut ties with her. I did, but the ties were kind of reconnected. Me and this old friend talk a few times a month mainly about my girlfriend and her boyfriend giving each other advice on how to make our realtionships better. My girlfriend found out that i still talk to my old friend and she Blew up. I understand that making a mental connection is still cheating but I truly love my girlfriend. My girlfriend has cheated on me in the past but ive forgiven her for that. She now wont accept my calls and has changed her email address, this is only the day after. I'm good friends with her parents and am hoping for their vote of confidence. how do i get her to forgive me

I don't know how you can get her back. It's only been a day.

She is taking a hard stance right now. Perhaps you should reply in kind. Don't call her or try to make contact. If she really cares about you she will contact you. You've made it clear to her that you still love her so why beat out your brains trying to prove it.

If she continues to play hard to get, and you want to contact her try to get her to agree to one 15 min call a week just to say hi. That could break the ice.

Good luck! George
