Turning the atmostphere from friendly to flirty?

I have recently met a guy, who is about 3 years older than I am. He's kind of mature and serious, so we don't joke around too much. But the atmosphere is much too "friendly" for me, even though I have been looking straight into his eyes and smiling a lot, and listening to him, somehow he doesn't flirt much with me. I know he likes me in a friendly way because he looks at me in the eye too and he told me he likes talking to me. But how can I get him to be more flirtatous towards me?

Unless your culture disapproves of it, you should start flirting with him.
This will give him the right idea about how you feel. So, hug him hello and goodbye, lean against him, poke him in the ribs.
Finally, you can just come right out and tell him you want him to flirt with you more. Ask him if he likes to flirt and tell him you do.
