Visitor's Question from a 13-15 year old Male
Well I met this girl in 6th grade through a mutual friend, she was very nice and well there is an acttraction between us. We don't see each other very much but we talk a good amount be it on the phone or computer. I've seen her quite a few times but we don't go to the same school's so it's like a monthly at best thing, the other day we were talking and she asked me if I had any birthmarks and this led to freckles and moles. She didn't ask if I had any but I asked her if someone had freckles on the face would it bother her, she said no, I asked her the same thing about moles and she said yes. I myself have a few moles on my face, there not very viewable or even that large as I have long hair and I guess she's never really noticed and it has been a few months since I saw her. But this really came as a punch to the stomach, I had thought about getting them removed lately as I've always been self concious about it, but well this happened today and really made me feel horrible about it. I can't really do anything about it it's genitic and no one else in my family really has any on there face, but well this hurt me and I don't want to say anything to her. What should I do, I really don't know. Well thank you for your time.

Tell her you have a couple of hardly visible moles and ask if that means you doesn't like you.
She will, of course, say that it doesn't matter. And if it doesn't matter then every thing is fine. If it does matter then you don't want to know her anyway if she is that superficial.
Don't consider having them removed... it just isn't that important.
