SOOOOO CONFUSED!!!!!!!

Visitor's Question from a 16-20 year old Female
To make a long story short, my now ex and I had an on and off relationship for almost five years. It was a rollercoaster of a relationship, filled with extreme highs and lows. Finally after he failed to visit or even call me after I was hospitalized, I broke up with him. Now he's telling me how much he loves me but the thing is that as much as I care for him, I don't even know if I still love him. We still fool around a bit but I don't know if I'm in love with him anymore. Now, this other guy, whom I think I'm starting to like told me he wants to get to know me and wants to date me. I've only known him for a year and we've only hung out like 3 times so I can't say for sure that I have a crush on him. Should I just forget my ex and move on or should I give him another chance even after the drama we went through? I care about him a lot and I always think of him but in the other hand, I also want to move on with my life and eventually start anew with someone else. I'm sooooo confused it's tormenting me. Please help!

RomanceClass.com Advice
If you had a crush on this new guy, you would definitely know.

But my advice is to give him a chance. You have been seeing your ex for five years and you need a break to see what else is out there. Especially after how he treated you when you were hospitalized.

Tell your ex that you want to try out a new relationship. His reaction to this will tell you more about how he really feels.

Happy Holidays! George
