shy problems

Visitor's Question from a 16-20 year old Male
I have known this girl for about 5+ years because every year we go over to their house for a super bowl party. Lately(in the past year) I have become attracted to her. We are both fairly shy and we started out talking online using myspace about 1 month ago and so far have sent almost 850 messages back and forth. Now we are saying hi to each other in the hallways and passing notes back and forth. Winter break is coming up on thursday and we have a day where we are going to watch movies at her house for a day/night. I did this to make it a comfortable atmosphere and less stressful. We have been getting to know each other for a month and I personally think it is time to move it to possibly a closer relationship. Would the movie night be the place and time to do it? Also, I am a senior in high school and she is a sophomore in high school.

RomanceClass.com Advice
It sounds like time for a personal relationship.

Tonight would be a good time to start (hope you get this message in time).

Don't worry about the age difference since often women are more mature than men. My best high school g/f was a sophomore when I was a senior.

Happy Holidays! George
