What would you do?

Visitor's Question from a 21-30 year old Female
Ok here is the short and sweet version. About 7 years ago I had a brief relationship (we were young) with a guy. Obviously things didn't work out, but not because of some big blow out or anything, simply we were young and growing up. A few months ago we re-met over the internet and have been talking (mainly over email but some phone calls too) ever since. The problem is that we live in completely different parts of the country. For the holiday, we both came back to visit our families and made plans to see eachother. The chemistry is there and we get along well, but I can't get a read on him. We live so far apart, that I don't want to be "that girl" and be too "needy" or anything, but I am interested to see if this goes any further.

What would you do in this situation? I am afraid to ask him for fear of rejection!

RomanceClass.com Advice
If I were in your situation, I would let things develop.

Perhaps this is your true love. But don't wait a long time before making up you mind since it is long distance and perceptions and feelings get warped by being apart.

Monitor your feelings as you go along and be sure you still truly care for him. Monitor his feelings as well.

Good luck and Happy New Years! George
