I Wanna Not Like Her, But Can't.

Visitor's Question from a 13-15 year old Male
This falls more in the "Friendship" than "Flirting" area.
I really like this girl in my class, and I'm pretty sure she likes me too. I'm 13. Right now I think dating at this age is a bit childish, and even if i did want to my parents would tear me up. I'm leaving it for at least 2 good years. I enjoy flirting with this girl, and she is a good friend. I wanna stay friends with her, so maybe later I can ask her out.
Problem: She's going to a different high school next year. Is it even slightly possible to have a relationship like that? Do people often date even though they go to different schools? I never see her out of school, nor do I know her email or phone number. I think i'd look like a desperate idiot if I asked for either of them.
There's not a chance in hell of me making her not go. It's the third best in the damn province!

RomanceClass.com Advice
You would be a lot better off if you dropped things with her.

You will get more attached to her, and you are right that it would be very difficult to maintain a relationship when she goes to another high school.

Find yourself another girl and move on with your life.

Good luck! George
p.s. it would be a good idea to get her phone number and email because you are friends and you want to continue that way.
