A Long Road For A Long Distance...Anything.

Visitor's Question from a 13-15 year old Female
theres this guy ive been tlaking to...for about a year. he's two years older than me. im only 14. and, i had a crush on him. but i never told him until he told me....a month before i moved here. i moved here about a month after that. and...we didnt date because i was moving. but we talk all the time and he still likes me and i still like him and i know theres no long distance relationship there. we're way too young. im not stupid, i hadnt even considered that. but, do you think its a complete waste of time talking to him at all. i mean, i know im never gonna see him again. he says we will...but im not coming back there...its just...not gonna happen. we arent BEST FRIENDS enough to keep in touch that long. he gets his liscense in march but i know he wont come 10 hours. thats stupid. and we cant meet anywhere until i get my liscense so...thats two years. it just...not gonna happen. and...i just feel like...whats the point of it all, you know? if im not gonna see him and i doubt we're going to keep in touch for...2 years and then 2 more after we saw eachother...what do you think?

RomanceClass.com Advice
I agree that in this case it is a waste of time.

Gradually decrease your contact with him and slowly let him go.

It will be better for both of you.

Good luck! George
