BF of 6 yrs with new girl...I still want him back

Visitor's Question from a 21-30 year old Female
My boyfriend of 6 yrs left me several months ago. We had a seemingly perfect relationship, were living together and talking about getting married. One day, he suddenly said that girlfriends were too needy and he needed space. He also said that he was not ready for a relationship like ours. He has told me that there is still hope for us but that he needs to be in another relationship so that he can figure out what he wants in life.I am devastated and don't know if I should wait for him to figure this out. This past week he told me has a new girlfriend. I am so afraid that there will be no hope for us anymore. He still said that he thinks there is hope for us...just not right now. I begged him to just tell me that there is no hope so that I could move on- he says that he can't cause he does not feel that way- so I think that he must really feel some hope.

What can I do now that he has a new girlfriend and lives farther away since he moved out of our house? How can I have hope that he won't just marry this girl (who he has known for 10 years)? How can we ever have a chance to get back together if there is another woman in his life?

RomanceClass.com Advice
Ask him to let you call him once a week for 15 mins just to see how the other is doing.

Don't talk about relationships and be pleasant.

This will keep you in his mind and give you some contact.

Good luck! George
