the advice I found is confusing me!

Visitor's Question from a 13-15 year old Female
I'm in a teens musical theater group and I like one of the guys. all the advice I've read seems to be for people you know and talk to,and who go to your school. but the only time I really interact with him is when we're rehersing a scene that both our characters are in, and I can't tell if I'm looking at him or his character. I don't think the guy notices me and I want him to but I'm shy, introverted and nervous, even to look at him sometimes. the hardest part for me is that I'm thirteen and he's sixteen. I want him to notice me and not think I'm weird. I'm new to this whole flirting thing and would like some advice that is specific to this situation. where do I sort of start?

RomanceClass.com Advice
Most people are shy, introverted, and nervous at age 13.

Especially when they are around someone they are interested in. You are going through a problem that most people face in their lives at one time or another.

What you can do is take advantage of breaks between rehearsals to talk to him. Always use his name and smile, smile, smile. Once you feel friendly with him conversation will flow more smoothly.

Bring a bag of chocolate chip cookies to rehearsal and offer them to him first and then to the others. The way to a man's heart is through his stomach.

Good luck! George
