he's lying

Visitor's Question from a 16-20 year old Female
Hi, i have been going out with my boyfriend for a little more than two years now. today is his friend's birthday and he told me that he won't be going to the party. also, i was with him earlier today and he made some excuse that he have to get home early because his mom doesn't want him driving out in the snowy weather (it didnt even show tonight. but then coincidently, hes not home today and he's not picking up his phone. i kept calling and he actually picked up once for two seconds and i heard a lot of music and loud noises in the background. i know for sure that he's lying about going out and im so angry at him. how should i deal with this situation so he notices how disrespectful he is for lying to me and that he'll learn never to do this again?

thank you.

RomanceClass.com Advice
Tell him that if he ever lies to you again you will leave him.

He won't be bothered by anything less than that.

Tell him in a serious but not shouting voice, shouting is not as believable as a deadly quiet voice.

Good luck! George
