Insecure and jealous

Visitor's Question from a 16-20 year old Male
I have recently entered to a relationship with a girl I met through a friend. Everything is going great with the exception that she is very insecure, which leads to her being suspicious or jealous of my actions. She has been hurt in the past before because she has been cheated on. Sometimes she just flips out over things that no secure individual would flip out about. She seems suspicious or jealous about a female friend I have who she has never met. She's way too insecure but she I feel it's because she's a sensitive person. I really want this to work out How can I get her to relax and make her more secure and trusting. Some how I feel that my telling her I would never cheat on her or purposely hurt her is not enough.

RomanceClass.com Advice
You just recently entered the relationship so it's probably too soon for her to have developed trust in you. This will take time.

Tell her that it's going to take time for her to realize that you aren't going to hurt her and promise her to treat her fears seriously and always to be honest even if it hurts.

She will soon recognize that although the truth hurts sometimes it is better than always worrying and wondering.

Good luck! George
