Wierd situation, left in dark

Visitor's Question from a 16-20 year old Male
Hey George. I have a very complicated situation. I became close to this girl in my group but after 3 weeks, even after I told her I like her alot, we still didnt get to the level of touching etc. In the holidays she met another guy who she really liked and said she kissed him right away because of a mutual attraction. Since then (4 weeks) I have fallen in love with her. I talk to her on the internet but find it hard to in real life. She knows I really like her but treats me like a common friend. Even after explaining my discomfort she acts the same way. It tears me apart that I cant be with her and cant be free of her even when Ive tried.

It makes me very angry that another guy just comes along, steals her and can kiss her without built-up friendship.

Please help. God bless you George for all you have done for the people on this website, you are a true saint.

RomanceClass.com Advice
Thanks for calling me a saint, but even a saint can bring bad news.

And that's what I'm afraid I have for you. Most people would feel angry in your situation. Sometimes, life sucks. This guy just got lucky and happened to appeal to the girl you like.

Keep on communicating with her and when she gets over him, you'll be ready to step in and take his place. Meanwhile practice talking with girls every chance you get. Smile and say hi whenever you see particular ones that you like.

No telling what will come of it but at least you will be more experienced.

Good luck! George
