how to get him to ask the big question?

Visitor's Question from a 16-20 year old Female
i have been dating this great guy and we are expecting our first child in november this year and i want marriage and we have talked about it breifly. and yet now it seems totally out of his mind, but it surrounds mine. marriage is something i need now and i need him to ask but im not sure how to ask and not be rude about it or sound pathetic. help?

Then ask him if he agrees that marriage would be a good idea.

This is not rude or pathetic but just common sense.
