First, please only submit one question per week.

Now I very, very rarely criticize spelling, grammar, punctuation, logic, etc. in the letters that are written to me. In your case I think it is important to do so because you are asking how you can help your boyfriend with his grades.

First advice I suggest to you is because you can pass these ideas to your boyfriend:

Capitalize the first word of each sentence.
Capitalize the pronoun "I"
Review your writing for misspelled words such as "ahving," "graes," "anyhitng"
or run-on words such as "problemwe."

My writing is not perfect, but I do try to review what I have written looking for obvious rule mistakes and simple errors.

This is something you can help your BF with.

As far as guides to good studying... try to find the same place and time to do homework each day. Make very sure you understand the assignment because if you don't, you are lost. Don't handwrite the assignment if at all possible. Use a computer for writing. Check and double-check your work.

Hope these help! George
