He likes me, but he likes someone else.
Visitor's Question from a 16-20 year old Female I met a guy at a party, through a friend. We had great chemistry, talked a lot, he seemed very interested, and we eventually kissed, and we also had sex. He told me he normally didn't do things like that, and that I should take it as a compliment. We had a really good time, and I could really see myself falling for him. Two days later, he calls me and tells me that even though he thinks I'm very charming and good looking, and that he doesn't regret anything, he's also interested in someone else, and that he thought I should know. He also said he hoped things wouldn't be weird between us when we meet on other occasions. It was a pretty clear rejection, but I can't seem to make myself let go of this, seeing as all the signs that he likes me are there. Should I give up, or is thre no hope at all?
RomanceClass.com Advice Sounds like a rejection, but not entirely.
Keep in contact with him just to keep the lines of communication open.
All he really said is that he is also interested in someone else. This is an honest thing for him to do and deserves your respect for that.
Good luck! George
