Jealous of a Female Dancer

Visitor's Question from a 21-30 year old Female
I am jealous my boyfriend's female friend that attends our dance class. She is an experienced dancer, as is my boyfriend, so they enjoy dancing with one another.

My problem is that she dresses like a slut and flirts with him and every other man in the class all the time. She never says a word to me except to ask where my boyfriend is. I know that this stems from my problems with trust, etc., but shouldn't my boyfriend be willing to NOT dance with her as much as he would like in consideration for my feelings?

RomanceClass.com Advice
If she was just an attractive girl in dance class, that would be one thing and I'd say that he should dance with her just like he dances with other girls as part of the class. But it seems like she is being actively rude to you and rubbing it in that she wants to find your boyfriend and spend time with him. Which is just rude and disrespectful.

Your boyfriend in all things should stand by your side and help support you and show his loyalty to you. So in this case I think it's quite reasonable for him to say "I'd rather dance with my girlfriend, thanks" if she goes towards him. And if she's seeking him out, he can politely say he was on his way to talk to you. This girl should NOT be publicly using you like this, and your boyfriend should not be assisting her.
