One of my best friend's sisters

Visitor's Question from a 16-20 year old Male
I will use all fake names, if i dont use named it will be more confuzing

Jessica(26) is my sister, she married jason(29) 4 years ago, Sam(24) is jasons brother, Sam is Engaged to Rebecca(20), Michelle(14) is Rebecca's younger sister. Sam is also one of my best friends

I am 17 and she is 14 she lives in a town I used to live in 30 miniuts from me, I just met her a week ago because she stayed with sam and jess for a week. We have a amazing conncection, but she is also really shy. I was getting close to ger but also holding back alot because sam is a good friend and I dont want him to be like " why would you do this bro" well I talked to sam and he realized I liked her and hes not 'Fine with it" but he said he can deal, and he would rather have me with her cause he knows I'm a good man. Rebecca on the other hand is very upset ect. I dont know what to do, I am really feeling this girl but her sister and sam are honestly really not feeling us having a relationship. I feel like if I wanted to ask her on a date I would have to ask permission, I feel like if I kissed her Sam would kick my ass. ect

RomanceClass.com Advice
They are probably worried about the age difference.

17 and 14 is a special difference because she is two years (it varies by state) from being "legal." They may think of Michelle being an innocent young thing and you being the older sex monster.

Perhaps if you asked Sam and Rebecca if you could go for a picnic or to the movies together they might feel better about it since they would be chaperones.

Good luck! George
