Should i really try?

Hey, how you doing? I toke your advice and talked to her, she said "i'm not flirting with them, i'm just being nice. Also i was think when you said hi." I said that's cool. So i called her that night and we talked, she said i'll think about getting back together, but if we do, you have to give up your love of video games. I said why!? She said what do you think drove me away in the first place. So a couple of days go by and our teacher says we will get yearbooks and you can sign them. That day comes and were in the student center, a girl i'm good freinds with comes up and signs my book, in it says, will you go out with me, tell me later. I just can't figure out what to do, stay with my ex, or go out with someone new. I relly like my ex, but this girl i'm friends with i know more about.

My advice is to go out with your friend.
Your ex is only promising to think about going out with you. And that is after you give up a lot of your video games.
You know your friend and that is good. A good friendship is very important to a relationship.
That's my advice, but you have to think about it more and decide for yourself.
