I don't know how to win my ex back again

Visitor's Question from a 21-30 year old Female
I was with my ex when i was 18 for 1 year 1/2 and we were very happy together. We argued at bit but most couples do! He ended up finishing me because he said i didnt give him anough space. It took me ages to get over him after pestering with calls all the time asking him to have me back.
To take my mind of it i started seeing someone else and i did fall for him and was with him for 3 years, but always in the back of my mind i still had feelings for my ex and hated seeing him with someone else. My ex never had a serious girlfriend since me he never settled down.
Then one day i saw him at a wedding an he said he still liked me and we started speaking agian and texting each other. Things went from bad to worse with the man i was with because of my feelings for my ex. We broke up and i started seeing my ex again and we were happy again for just over a year. Now my ex who is my boyfriend now, has just ended it with me again saying he needs more space again and used the same excuses as last time saying i havnt changed and we argue too much. I have started ringing him again and pestering him because i just want to sort things out. He says he stills loves me but carnt see a future for us because of the arguments and the space issue and he hasnt been happy for a while.
I dont know what to do now and how to get him back, i will change and give him more space but he says he has given to many chances for it to work. I know it can work if i give him more space in our relationship. Please advise me on what to do next i dont want to lose him forever! Thanks
