Do I have feelings for my best friend?

I've never been in a real relationship and I haven't had feelings for a girl in quite a while, but for the past few months, it seems I've started to have feelings for my best friend. There is nobody else I'd rather be with and I bend over backwards to make her happy. moreso than any other of my closest friends. We have a great time together and we obviously share a connection. Sometimes I think that it may just be that I haven't had feelings for a girl in so long that I'm just clinging to the closest female friend I have, but other times I feel I'm simply in denial and my feelings are true. Either way, I can't express my feelings for her, because she has a long-term bf and sees me as a brother. But just for my piece of mind, I need to know whether my feelings for her are real. What are some signs to tell whether I have actual romantic feelings for my best friend?

One of the traditional ways of telling if you are in love is whether you think about kissing her a lot. Do you think of going on vacations, movies, etc. Do you think of her often. Do you think of marriage?
These are simple signs that will indicate that you have romantic feelings for her.
