What is the next step
Visitor's Question from a 16-20 year old Female Dear George,
I wrote in a few weeks ago about the sophmore boy in my drama class who always flirts with me and asks me how I am doing when he sees me in the halls. You told me to let him know that I like him and see where things go. Well I finally got some guts and asked him to my senior prom. He seemed really flattered and was willing to go, provided his parents gave the ok. Well that night he called me and told me that his parents wouldn't let him go, because it was really expensive. He felt really bad about it and suggested that I ask this other guy in our class.Of course I wasn't planning on asking anyone else. I said I totally understood and that it was ok. A few minutes later I called him back and let him know that I would pay for the tickets, but he brought up the fact that he would have to rent a tux and that would be expensive. He said "it just kills me". There is only 2 months left till i graduate. So my question is does it seem like he likes me and what should I do to try to get to know him better, before it is too late.
Thanks so much!
