His preacher made us break up. Says he still loves me. What do I do?

Visitor's Question from a 16-20 year old Female
Okay...My ex goes to this Penacostal (dont know how to spell) Church that is a cult. His preacher is a false profit and makes them follow stupid rules. Well one of these rules is not to date a "non-beleiver", or better put, someone who doesnt go to the church. Well my bf and I were together for 9 months, though it felt like WAY longer, anyway the other day he broke up with me. His preacher told him to get away from me for a week to fast from me and get closer to God. Well I txt my bf asking him what he found out and he said that he felt that when he got close to God that he numbed his love for me so he broke up with me. But he says that he still loves me more than anything but doesnt want to disobey God's will. Every1 who doesnt go to that church thinks that the preacher brainwashes all the followers. What do I do? Do I wait for him? Do I try to talk to him? Please help!

RomanceClass.com Advice
Tell him you want to hear more about his beliefs so that you can understand his religion. Be sure that you are actually open to listening.

Once you start meeting, you may find his views to your liking. In any case,
when you are physically together his hormones will kick in and you two will
probably be together again.

Good luck! George
