Longest Relationship

Visitor's Question from a 21-30 year old Female
My bf and I met each other in October 2007 and became a couple in December 2007, and we have been together for approximately, 8 months. When we 1st started dating, there was true passion, happiness and anxiety for one other. In March 2008, we started to get very intimate and started fondling with each other more frequently. Then in May or so, we took intimacy to another level and became "oral". Now, it's August and my feelings for intimacy are slowly declining. I miss how we were when we 1st met...shy, yet butterflies in the stomach. Now, I believe I love him, but I am not getting the feelings i once had.

Do you think we should take a break, to rekindle the feelings? What can I do? I am worried about this, because he really loves me and talks about marriage and the future etc. PLEASE HELP!!!

By the way this is my 1st serious relationship. The others have not ever lasted this long. 4 months max.

RomanceClass.com Advice
One thing you should try to figure out is why your previous relationships were so short. Whatever it was, it could be happening again.

My advice is to see a professional counselor for help. Talking things out should be very productive.

A break is a chancy thing to try. There are good odds that it would break you up.

Good luck! George
