I have cheated and feel like crap

Visitor's Question from a 21-30 year old Female
I have always been a commited person in a relationship, especially the current one I am in. Me and my boyfriend have been together for about 5 yrs. now. I love him with all my heart, but I feel into temptation after taking a new job. I started messing around with a man that could have been my father (eww, I know but he was handsome). He showed me a good time taking me out to lunch everyday, and giving me that certain, love I was wanting from my boyfriend. Anyways, To make I long story short, My boyfriend found out eventually and keeps bring it up. I don't really know what to do to let him know I feel awful about what I had did. I promised him I would changed AND HAVE! He still brings it up and it has been a year after I have did this terrible deed! I want his heartbreak to end so we can have that wonderful relationship we had before.

The next time he brings it up, tell him that you don't want to discuss it any further because she have already told him it was a one time happening, that you regret it, and it won't happen again. Then stick to you word.

Good luck! George
