loving a friend?!

I met my guy friend about a ytear ago and we're really tight. then i relaised earlier this year that i liked him as more than a friend. He seems to have an intrest in me,and my friends tell me the same thing! He's a very shy guy, and i doubt he would ever approach me about something like this! So i have to bring up my feeling for him! I know.. this puts me in a bad spot telling him how i feel but not knowing if he'll feel the same way! well.. i was wondering how should i tell him, or ask him if he likes me? we sorta talked about my liking A GUY and he helped me out, but then things sorta got weird bwetween us! how do i tell him how i feel, without ruining the friendship, or sounding stupid? where and how should i tell him? thanks!

Since he is so shy, write him a note and say that you are "developing feelings" for him and ask how he feels about you. What this tells him in a low-key way is how you feel but won't scare him off.
