Should we break up?

Visitor's Question from a 31-40 year old Male
I recently broke up with my gf of 3 yrs. I haven't really felt like being intimate with her for a long time. We have been living together and I just have been feeling smothered. I love her, but have never felt that overwhelming sense of love - even in the begining. She moved out 3 weeks ago and I am missing her and questioning my decision. She is the sweetest, most loyal woman I have ever dated and I'm just not sure if I'm being to picky. We get along great for the most part - my biggest complaint is that she is too clingy. Please advise a confused guy. Thanks!

RomanceClass.com Advice
You don't want to be intimate with her, you feel smothered, you have never loved her overwhelmingly, and she is too clingy.

Unless you want to go for counseling with her (which might work) my advice is to leave things the way they are. It is normal to miss someone for a while.

Good luck! George
