my ex is confused

Visitor's Question from a 21-30 year old Female
hello. I have been dating this guy on and off for 4 years. He has left me two times choosing to try to work thins out with his child's mother. After he decided things were not going to work he came back to me asking if we could try to make things work. Believing that he had changed i took him back. Just recently he told me that he loved me, cared for me and wanted a future with me. He wanted to marry me but there is one issue. He was dating a lady that is 20 years older than him. She was married and left her husband to be with him. He choose to leave her because of the age difference 24 and 45...beside she was ashamed of him (not wanting to tell her friends). Now he left her and wanted a future with me. A week and a half into our relationship he decided that still had feelings for her and thought he would just get over it. So he wanted to be with me and continue to go by her house, sit with her at church and talk on the phone with her for hours. I gave him a choice me or her. he stated that he does care about me and meant everything he said but for now he wanted to choose to still sit by her, visit her and talk on the phone with her. But he does "love" me and doesn't want me to think that he lied to me about anything. He wants me to wait while he tries to find an answer. This is 4 years of my life same thing over and over again "i've change, can we work on things" just for him to choose someone else. HELP

RomanceClass.com Advice
You've spent four years on this guy. The way things are going, it could be another four years before he decides what he wants or finds yet another woman to be with.

My advice is to tell him you are NOT going to wait around while he continues his adventure of finding the right woman. You deserve better than this. You have to think of your future and realize he is not part of it.

Don't let him back into your life. Find someone new who will be your's alone.

Good luck! George
