What can i do to be with her again?

Visitor's Question from a 31-40 year old Male
I was undergoing deep depression, and using drugs to self medicate. Me and my ex were together for almost 3 years. In fact we were living together for most of that time. I fell apart mentaly and sabatoged my relationship. I also attempted suicide. I have started therapy, but now she won't even talk to me. I love her without condition, so i do not pressure her, or initiate contact. That is very difficult because i want to grow old with her. I miss her laugh, and her smile. I miss her smell. There is nothing about her that i do not miss. I have succeded in destroying my relationship, which in turn crushed me. I want to be with her. I know that she is my one true love, but i do not know what to do to be with her again. Can anyone help me, please?

RomanceClass.com Advice
Since you have started therapy, I suggest that you bring your needs to your counselor. After all he or she should know you very well soon and can give you good advice on what to do.

In general, my advice is to continue your therapy until you and your counselor feel that you have made significant progress. At that point try to renew your contact with your ex. She probably misses you too and may be willing to give you another chance if you really try hard at your therapy and come to a better understanding of yourself. After all, no one wants to be around a depressed and suicidal person. Make yourself and your mental health the biggest priority in your life. Then think of her.

Good luck! George
