Ok, I dated this guy for 8 months and I was really in love with him but then we hit a rough patch which resulted in my breaking up with him and its been a few months and we've considered getting back together but something had always gotten in the way... now our lives are finally straightened out but he has a new girlfriend it's been rumored that hes only dating her cuz his dad thunks i'm too young for him and he's told me recently that he still loves me... we flirt and stuff but he's trying to prove to me that he's not a cheater anymore. I'm trying to let him be good but it's so hard cuz I want him so bad. how do I let him know I want him back? Do you think it's possible that we could ever be together again?

Of course you could be together again.

It's ok to let him know you care for him. You are good not to tempt him into cheating, because that would probably lead to him cheating on you.

From the sound of your story, there is a good chance you will be back together.
