Im only jealous when it comes to one specific girl

Visitor's Question from a 16-20 year old Female
I am in my first relationship with a girl. Before we were "girlfriends" we were best friends. She was dating one of my friends and had an intimate relationship with her. After we confessed our love for each other and became a couple thats when the problems started to arise. She hadnt seen or hung out with my friend who she had previously dating in a while. So when she finally did and she later confessed to me that she was still in love with her and she couldnt be with me. A month or so went by and she came running back to me letting me know that it was a mistake and she didnt have feelings for the girl she had previously been dating. So i took her back after she told me that it was me she was in love with. So were back together now and she is still friends with the girl she dated before me and i get really jealou s and worried that my girlfiends feelings will arise again , and something will happen and we will break up.....what do i do?? Am i jealous? Are my feelings wrong? Am i taking it to far by telling her she cant be her friend anymore?

RomanceClass.com Advice
Don't tell her she can't be friends anymore because that is like telling a child it can't have candy. Instead, trust her as trust is one of the truest forms of love. You aren't unusual for having jealous feelings, but you have to learn to deal with them. Try arguing back to those feelings and tell yourself that it's all in your head.

Be the best girlfriend you can be, leave the worrying behind, and have fun. That's what will keep her attracted to you.

Good luck! George
