Jealous Friend

Visitor's Question from a 16-20 year old Female
F* and I were friends since childhood, but she's always been extremely jealous of me. and gets bitchy for no reason. She recently accused my parents and I of stealing a box of chocolates from the show bag I bought her as a 19th birthday present..through a text message. I've had enough, but have stuck this year because she has no other friends and I feel sorry for her.

What would you suggest doing?

The category you selected was "Jealousy Issues" but you didn't mention anything about jealousy. Maybe what you mean is "envy." Envy is when someone has something that you want but doesn't want to take it away from you.

Whatever is going on, you have to talk with your friend and figure out what is going on. Even if she doesn't want to talk you have to. Tell her if she won't talk then your friendship is in jeopardy.
