He cheated, he told me, It hurts

Visitor's Question from a 16-20 year old Female
My boyfriend just told me that he made out several times with
his best friend. He said he was sorry and started crying. Saying I have been the best girlfriend ever and he doesnt deserve me. I am willing to forgive, but the pain is so unbearable. My chest hurts, I just threw up. How can I deal with the pain? Images keep flashing through my head. Also in the past we have had problems with this girl getting in the middle of us. I had suggested him ending the relationship and bad things always happened afterwards and I dont mean fights or anything just crappy stuff. Because of the past he has been distant from her, but she not from him. I want the friendship to end, but I do not feel right asking it I feel like he should do it on his own thats all I ever wanted. SHould I ask him to do that? I dont know what to do. The pain...it hurts. (Thank you very much in advance you dont know how much it means to me to get some sort of advice)

RomanceClass.com Advice
The pain will eventually go away like pain usually does. Maybe it has lessened already since you wrote this a week ago.

He must stop having contact with her. It is your right to insist on this. They crossed the line and so they must stop seeing each other. If he refuses, you should break up with him. You trusted him and he broke that trust. You would be better off not seeing him again than having to worry every day about what the two of them are up to.

It is so sad that this happened to you. This is one of the reasons why so many marriages end up in divorce. It is important to choose someone who can be trusted.

Good luck! George
