Lie or truth?

Visitor's Question from a 13-15 year old Female
There's a guy in my grade whom everyone keeps saying has a crush on me. At times, he's around when people tell me so. he doesn't deny it, but never confirms it either.
Aside from the actual teasing, he doesn't do much flirting himself except for the standard eye-contact and gossipping about me, sometimes purposely making me overhear him.

One of his funniest flirting techniques involved a fire extinguisher. Our class was going to the cafetaria when he took out a fire extinguisher from the cabinet and circled my girls and I with a blushing face. Later on the guys told me he said, "She is so hot I can't look at her without using a fire extinguisher."

But aside from the friends teasing me, he often joins in on the prank (without me being included in the circle, though. He jokes about me with his friends when I'm not there), and I can't tell if he really is crushing on me, or is just playing around with my heart. I never noticed him much till now, but I do admit, every now and then, I'm slowly beginning to wonder about him in a positive way.

The question is this: Should I wait patiently till the rumors end or he confesses, or should I confront him straight on and tell him that the rumors are pissing me off, and I'd rather he just tell me his feelings right then and there?

Why not just get it over with and end the drama.

Ask him what his feelings are and be done with it.

Good luck! George
